About the Southwest Regional Hub The Familia Adelante Southwest Regional Hub will be hosted and managed by Amistades Incorporated located in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 2006, Amistades, Inc. has built a strong reputation across Arizona and the Southwest for delivering culturally grounded prevention, behavioral health intervention, youth development, and community wellness initiatives that serve Latino and underserved communities. Through deep partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, tribal communities, public agencies, and civic leaders, Amistades has consistently advanced evidence based and community informed approaches that strengthen family resilience, improve health outcomes, and expand access to care. As the new Familia Adelante Southwest Regional Training Hub, Amistades brings extensive experience implementing and supporting the Familia Adelante model in both urban and rural communities. For the 20 years, our organization has worked directly with youth, parents, community health workers, counselors, and educators to deliver culturally responsive prevention and behavioral health programming that reflects the lived experiences, cultural strengths, and intergenerational values of Latino families. Amistades has successfully facilitated Familia Adelante for over 10 years with support from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family. Our team understands the importance of combining evidence-based practices with culturally rooted approaches that honor identity, language, tradition, and community connection. Amistades approaches this work with the belief that healing and prevention are strongest when rooted in culture, community trust, and collective responsibility. As a Southwest Regional Training Hub, we are honored to expand access to the Familia Adelante model and support organizations committed to advancing health equity, family wellness, and culturally responsive care throughout the region. The Southeast Regional Training Hub for Familia Adelante will provide training and associated services for four states including: Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Nevada.
